Servicing Cornell and Ithaca College alumni returning from around the world for the past 70 years, we have become a favorite destination for people living in Rochester, Syracuse and the finger-lake region. Our newest venue is located adjacent to the hotel, this beautiful garden can accommodate it all: the ceremony, cocktail reception and a sit down dinner for up to 220 people and an after hours lounge, under our spectacular Sperry tent. Please note that all outdoor weddings are only available between May 1st and the third weekend in October.
The venue fee for the Wedding Garden is $5,000 plus tax and includes the large reception tent and tables and chairs for 125 people.
The Inn restaurant will accompany up to 100 guests with stunning views of Cayuga Lake. If you are hosting a wedding at the Inn restaurant and plan to engage a DJ or Band, to insure your party will not be interrupted, you are required to book all six guest suites on the second floor. These will be your guest quarters and may be assigned to accommodate any of your party guests. On certain weekends there are 2-3 night minimums which needs to be honored as well.
The Venue fee for the Inn Restaurant is $2500 plus tax, however this fee will be waived if the estimated dinner costs exceed $6500.
The Jones room is our most elegant private room, we can accommodate thirty-six guests for a sit-down plated dinner. This room is perfect for more intimate celebrations such as weddings, a bridal lunch or rehearsal dinners. If you are hosting a wedding at the Inn restaurant and plan to engage a DJ or Band, to insure your party will not be interrupted, you are required to book all six guest suites on the second floor. The venue fee for the Jones Room is $500.00 plus tax, per use.
Our Hillside property can support up to 100 people in a dinner tent behind the house. The beautiful white pergola, is a perfect place to take your vows and has views of our pond and Cayuga Lake in the background.
The venue fee for Hillside is $2500.00 plus tax.

How many people have a 215-foot waterfall in the backdrop of their wedding photos? We’ll make all necessary arrangements with the State Park for your photo shoot at the foot of this breathtaking natural wonder.
We can also hold your wedding ceremony by the little waterfall or next to Cayuga Lake and take care of all those details.
We offer a variety of boats and classic cars, perfect to enhance your photo shoot. We are delighted to take smaller groups out on sunset boat tours while we have a private wine tasting at sunset. Our event planner can set up a golfing expedition for the golfers in your party, or arrange a winetasting tour, or hiking!
Lakeview is a private house that offers an exclusive bridal retreat with a private master suite, marble bathroom and cozy living room. When the bridesmaids stop by to prepare for the ceremony, the space also has a private make-up and hair salon, massage rooms and on-site fitness center. A perfect refuge, as you're pampered and relax in front of the fireplace, while your bridesmaids enjoy hors d'ouvres and champagne. Enjoy a manicure and pedicure as everyone gets their hair and makeup applied by professionals. Retire in the secluded Bridal Suite overlooking the lake while everyone dresses for your big day.
During the wedding reception, our staff will pack your bags and relocate you to the Honeymoon Suite on the third floor of the Victorian Inn, where you will spend your wedding night in the most romantic setting on campus.
After the band has played its final number, when others have called it a night and it's just you and your closest friends and family… Adjourn to the fire pit for late night conversation and a few more toasts. We know you don't want this night to end.
We'll keep the flames going late into the evening so you can make s'mores or arrange for a breakfast bar for all your late night partiers.

The Inn at Taughannock has five buildings, each one may be rented on an as-needed basis or rent the entire 12-acre campus. This destination wedding location encourages you to rent and control the entire property, which includes every guest room, our private houses, bar, restaurant and all the grounds and fire pits.
This is your day and we want you to be exceptionally happy with all the details. We would be delighted to personalize our menu to incorporate your distinctive taste. All food selections must be completed 45 days prior to your event.
We offer a complimentary menu tasting after you have committed to our venue. However we would be delighted to provide a limited tasting of our entrees, free of charge, even if you’re still undecided. Please contact our event planner to set up a time to taste the menu.
All wedding packages include your very own on-site wedding planner, who will assist your every need until you depart. This personal assistant is how we achieve your every expectations of this landmark event. Once we have received your deposit holding the venue location and date, we will provide you with a complete list of our preferred vendors which we highly recommend. Of course you are free to pick and choose anyone you like, other than the catering and bar service we provide. All receptions include tablecloths, napkins, votive candles, parquet dance floor, champagne toast, complimentary cake cutting and serving.
Our culinary staff will meet or exceed your culinary requests. Quite honestly, that is the reason for getting married at The Inn at Taughannock. With our remodeled kitchen and CIA trained chef, we are sure to exceed your expectations.
We offer a variety of bar packages by the hour and can also provide a cash bar, or just wine, champagne and beer service. Any and all combination you can imagine. All guests under 30 should expect to provide proof of age. Please click here to view our bar packages.
Yes we do require a non-refundable deposit in the amount of the venue fee listed under the desired location you choose. Below is a schedule of payment:
• Due at signing or one year from wedding date: Venue fee deposit is due.
• Six months from wedding date: 50% of total estimated cost due
• 30 days from wedding date: Balance paid in full
• Any remaining balance is due at check-out the following morning.
• All deposits are non-refundable.
This is your day to celebrate, one of the best aspects of being surrounded by a State Park, there is no one to complain, other than another hotel guest that is not with your party. We will ask the band to lower its volume to the music at 11PM and of course State law requires us to stop all alcohol sales by 1AM. Most likely you have rented one of our private homes and can keep the party going.
Menus & Arrangements
Weddings booked a year or more in advance are subject to an increase of 15% on food costs. All prices are subject to change (up to a 3% increase) up to 60 days prior to your event. No outside food or beverages may be brought into Inn at Taughannock events, except for wedding cakes.
We will do our best to provide you with the first choice of any guest rooms you may need for your special day. The requests must be submitted at the time of signing the wedding contract. The Inn at Taughannock cannot guarantee any additional guest room availability at a later date. We do collect a 50% deposit on all hotel rooms and will refund the deposit 10 days prior to your stay, for rooms you no longer need.
The Inn at Taughannock offers a premiere wedding venue and does not require that your wedding package meet any minimums. The Wedding Garden venue does require a minimum of 125 people in order to book and host a wedding on Saturday night between May through the third week in October.
The Inn at Taughannock has five buildings and 26 total guest rooms.
Edgewood is a modern facility with ten guestrooms all facing the lake with balconies. Four rooms have two queen beds, the other six rooms are equipped with king beds and pull out sofas.
Lakeview is a private house with a master on-suite and a spacious living room. The second half of the house is a professional salon, perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to be pampered with hair styling, make-up and mani pedi on the wedding day. This is our recommendation where the bride should stay the night before her wedding. We will be happy to pack you up and relocate you to our bridal suite while the ceremony is underway.
Hillside home is a fully operational home that may be rented in sections or in its entirety. The 5000 sq. ft. home is newly restored and has six bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen. There are two rooms with king beds, three rooms with queen beds and a child's room with two twin beds. The living room accommodates a cocktail reception for up to 50 guests.
Parkview is our pet friendly building with three rooms each with king beds and on-suite bathrooms. It can be rented as one house or three separate rooms.
The Victorian Inn is the ultimate in luxury. All six rooms have antiques of the era and top of the line bedding.
