Tammy Havens
RESTAURANT MANAGER

Tammy Havens brings 23 years of hospitality management experience to the property. Recently the General Manager at the Esperanza Mansion on Kueka Lake. Tammy was also the owner of Sarrasin’s on the Lake. Tammy has cultivated a variety of serving and operating techniques which will refine Taughannock's operations with the goal of providing first rate service at our restaurant.

Damita Chamberlain
EVENTS MANAGER

“My name is Damita Chamberlain, and I’m thrilled to be managing catering and events at The Inn at Taughannock. 

After graduating from the Center For Media Arts in NYC for Radio/TV Broadcast Announcing, I discovered my real calling in hospitality. I earned my skills working at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel as Head Concierge, Hotel Ithaca (formerly Holiday Inn Ithaca Downtown) as Hotel Sales Manager and more recently at Tioga Downs Casino as Catering Sales Manager. 

We are in the process of expanding our event capabilities at the Inn at Taughannock, but in the meantime, we can offer a beautiful 90 seat dining room with spectacular views of Cayuga Lake. Looking for something more intimate, dine like royalty at the Jones room. The refreshed decor is as delectable as our cuisine. Transcend time as our history becomes part of yours.

Scott O'Connell

"I’m proud to have earned the position of Executive Chef at Inn at Taughannock. I am committed in preparing first rate cuisine and constantly evolving menu for all our guests to enjoy.  Growing up in New York City exposed me to so many different types of food and styles of cooking as a young man and inspired me to attend The Culinary Institute of America. Since graduating I’ve worked in some of the most notable kitchens in the area such as Wildflowers at the Lodge in Turning Stone, The Inns of Aurora and Mirbeau Inn, all of them have greatly influenced me. I look forward to taking advantage of the wonderful bounty of ingredients the Finger Lakes region has to offer and serving you a delightful meal as you enjoy the most remarkable view of Cayuga Lake."
