It’s one of the most exciting developments at Taughannock Farms Inn in its 130-year history! We’ve added a new ten-unit guest house to our 12-acre compound. Our challenge: to create new accommodations that match the historic grace and elegance that is so much a part of the Taughannock experience. We think we’ve succeeded.

The new guest house retains the Victorian charm of the original Inn, with the same multi-paned windows, multiple dormers, and broad, gabled roof. The two story building has five units per floor, each designed with an entry area, full bath, and a lovely living-sleeping area. Walk-out porches on the side facing Cayuga Lake allow guests to absorb the peace and beauty of the countryside.

The new guest house allows us to nearly double the space we now have for guests. We currently have stately accommodations in the main building itself, as well as rooms in three other lovely guest houses that are perfect for families or small groups.

The new building is a wonderful addition to the Taughannock Farms Inn. It bridges past and present, with the best features of both…and it’s a continuation of the Taughannock tradition of stylish, old-world hospitality.
