Wedding Receptions & Rehearsal Dinners
Capacities: We are able to accommodate weddings of 20 to 155 people in the daytime and weddings of 20 to 40 people in the evening. Please see the sidebar on this page for more details.
On-Site Wedding Ceremonies:
With its lush foliage and tranquil view of the lake our garden is a beautiful spot to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. In case of inclement weather we require that you provide a tent or have a secondary indoor location when renting the garden as there is not sufficient room in the Inn for a ceremony (depending on the size of your party). Please call for garden rental fees.
Table Color Scheme: Our tables are set with elegant white linens and ivory napkins at no charge to you. However, if you would like to change the color scheme we have a variety of colors to choose from at an additional charge. If you would like to change the linen colors we would need to know four weeks before your function so that there is enough time to have them delivered.
Flowers and Centerpieces: We provide small vases with carnations at no charge. If you prefer to provide flowers or centerpieces you may do so. The arrangements must be assembled and delivered to the Inn before the function is scheduled to start.
Favors and Place Cards: We are happy to put out place cards, table numbers and favors for your event, however you will need to provide these in advance with a diagram of how you would like them to be placed at the tables.
Setting Up: Our staff will be able to set up any decorations, favors or place cards for you, however if you would like to come in and set the dining room up before the reception you will need to have prior permission. Please be aware that for daytime functions the dining room will not be available to come in and set up until 10:30 AM due to breakfast being served to our houseguests. For evening functions the timing for set up will depend on if there is another function scheduled in the same dining room earlier in the day.
Wedding and Special Occasion Cakes: Since we do not provide cakes, if you would like to bring in a cake, we will provide ice cream to accompany it at no additional charge. In this case you will not be able to select another dessert from our dessert menu. Please make sure that your cake decorator provides take home cake-boxes for left over cake and for the top tier of wedding cakes being saved for your 1year anniversary. Also, if there are pieces that the cake decorator needs to save, make sure he/she informs us ahead of time. Your cake provider is responsible for the placement of the cake if the cake needs to be set up in our dining room. Please have your cake provider contact us to arrange delivery and set up times.
