How to Book Your Function for 20-40 Guests
- Guaranteeing (booking) the Date
Payment of the room rental fee and deposit of $15.00 per person (based on the initial guest count) guarantees the date for your function. For this payment we only accept cash or check; however we do require a credit card number to keep on file. Both the deposit and the room rental fee are non-refundable. These payments are due two weeks after we have tentatively held this date for you. If we have not received your payment by the due date your function date will be released.
For Business & Corporate Clients: Please inquire about various payment methods available.
- Initial Guest Count
The initial guest count is an estimate of how many people will be attending your function. This is due at the time of booking.
- Banquet Billing Terms and Conditions Contract
Once you have booked your function we will send you a contract. You will need to sign the contract to acknowledge your acceptance of policies and billing terms and return it to Taughannock Farms Inn.
- Revised guest count (Due 21 days prior to your function)
This is a revised estimate of the Initial Guest Count that was given at the time of booking. The Revised Guest Count must be a specific number, not a range.
- Menu Choices (Due 21 days prior to your function)
Once you have chosen the menu you would like to offer to your guests you will need to confirm it with us. It is extremely important that you confirm your menu choices with us before you send out any invitations or let your guests know what you are offering.
- Menu Order (Due 7 days prior to your function)
We need a specific count of how many guests will be receiving each option of ALL courses offered.
- Final Guarantee Count (Due 7 days prior to your function)
This number is not subject to reduction. You will be charged for the guarantee or the number attending, which ever is greater. If no guarantee is received, we will consider your Revised Guest Count to be your guarantee. Please note if the final guarantee is below the required minimum, you will be charged for the required minimum. The missing number of people will be charged at the lowest entrée price from your selected menu.
